We would like to thank all the diehards that came out to the show over the weekend. We had a few machines operating after a slow start because of the rain. This year's show was also a memorial show and Dave McDonnell would be proud of all the people that showed up in the rain. We had a few that came to the for the first time this year. We hope you all return in the future and it's better weather when you come back next time.
We had some stuff show up and didn't get unloaded because of the rain. We had many people bringing machinery that for the first time this year. Because of the rain didn't make it and don't blame them.

Edgar Browning Author of Ohio Roadbuilding Construction Equipment at Work and Roadbuilding Construction Equipment at Work books for a number of other states will be at this years show. Edgar is also the Author of the quarterly Shovel magazine.
GMS will have a booth at this years show recruiting employees for the mining industry.
There may be some additional commercial exhibits at this years show that recently expressed interest.

Age of Steam Roundhouse Tours

We are no longer taking reservations.  Based on current reservations received and the estimated additional reservations we are aware of still coming in both tour times are full.  If your reservation has already been mailed or we had communications with you prior to today your reservation will be accepted. 

We plan doing this again the last Saturday in October 2019.  We plan doing three tour times next year after the overwhelming interest this year.  Information will be posted in the spring of 2019 on www.hcrhp.org, www.coalpark.org, and www.Facebook.com/hcrhp.
